Please join us as Charles Newson whose 15+ year career has been in Learning, Performance and Business Transformation roles in industry and with top tier consulting organizations across a variety of industries discusses how the African American male succeeds in todays society. He has taken strategies from concept to execution – and has honed his skills in both developing and operationalizing these strategies.Charles's overall career focus has been on addressing mid- through large-scale human capital and learning transformation issues, including staffing, on-boarding, assimilation, performance management, retention, workforce analytics, competencies, learning and curriculum development, leadership development, and instructional design. Charles has designed and managed both organizational and executive programs and initiatives. He has played leadership roles on multiple global HR, learning and transformation initiatives, process re-engineering efforts, and system implementations.Mr. Newson graduated Morehouse College, a Historically Black College and University in Atlanta, GA. He received an MBA with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix.
